EVERY DAY WE HATE GETTING EMAILS gas prices rise just a few cents. For every 100 emails that we have to sort through every morning, it's at least 15 phone calls we were saved from having to make. And with the brilliant invention of spam filters, emails are slowly becoming a very necessary, if not preferred form of business communication. Personally, don't leave a message...send me an email; there's no stress, and it's on MY time.

My creative marketing start began in tradeshows then quickly transferred into print media; I've always liked the tangible; I like holding media in my hands, if feels so very real that way. But the issue with print is that it very quickly becomes obsolete. Who likes holding last year's catalog, or flipping through an encyclopedia from 1983? Emails are very immediate, and with the rise of the Blackberry, we can check them wherever we are, be it illegally in our cars, while waiting at a bar, sitting in a park, riding a subway, or lounging in Starbucks.

Email campaigns are quickly becoming a sign of Good Business practice, though, it is firstly important to mention that there is etiquette to be minded, that if not followed not only becomes BAD etiquette, but also ILLEGAL.

So, here it is, SOLAR JET PRO's Top 10 GREAT Reasons For Why Email Campaigns Mean Good Business.:

1. STAY IN TOUCH with your clients and customers on a regular basis with personalized communication. This type of advanced communication can be great for sales teams that cover a wide territory, effectively balancing phone communication and on-site visits, also allowing savings through gas reduction.

2. SEND HOLIDAY ECARDS OR INVITATIONS. Create engaging an entertaining eVites with the ability to efficiently manage RSVPs online.

3. COLLECT VALUABLE INFO THROUGH SURVEYS. The best way to strategize growth is to understand the real value of your service offerings. Sending an online survey to your customer that reports immediately the data you need and the services they require is an easy way to efficiently and effectively plan future growth.

4. STAY LEGAL. Be careful not to be tantilized into turning your email campaign into a Spam Factory. With Subscription / Unsubscrition procedures fully automated, you can manage your email lists automatically through software features that will also help keep your email marketing within federal guidelines.

5. SEND E-COUPONS AND GET PRODUCT ROLLING. Need to push a campaign or new product into higher gear? An eCoupon campaign can immediately get the word out, and there’s no printing costs!

6. TELL CUSTOMERS ABOUT NEW PRODUCTS AND SERVICES. With email marketing you have the ability to engage your business partners with fresh content including company promotions, Sales, Or Events.

7. SEND INTERNAL NEWSLETTERS TO EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES. Email marketing can also be effectively used within your organization to improved internal communication, be it sales techniques, program strategies, new products and service updates.

8.INTEGATE EASILY WITH E-COMMERCE. Email marketing can be seamlessly integrated with eCommerce; simply add a subscription checkbox and add both new and potential customer information to your mailing list.

9. UTILIZE TRACKING DATA TO STRATEGIZE GROWTH. Through email marketing you know how many people opened your campaign, many people clicked, how many unsubscribed through integration with Google Analytics. You can target specific behavior such as who clicked the previous newsletter and follow-up with those who didn't open the promotion. You can also compare your results with industry averages, letting you know how your marketing efforts measure up with the competition.

10. SEGMENT YOUR CAUSE. Not every campaign is for everybody, and you no longer have to create a
“one-size-fits-all” program. Truly target your market with a multi-pronged campaign that can respond to multiple factors including geography, gender and age.
