I started Solar Jet Productions back in August 2004 as a production house for the documentary feature La Chef, highlighting 10 prominent female personalities in the New York restaurant industry, which was produced in conjunction with my dual role as Editor of Chefs Express magazine and Assistant Marketing Director for Chefs Warehouse (NASDAQ: CHEF); my nine years at this company–from tradeshow developer, to graphic designer, to project manager, to creative director, to editor, served as the foundation for my marketing education and training.
Solar Jet Pro then co-produced the new American opera ELLEN CRAFT, which I also composed, which premiered at The Michael Schimmel Center in downtown Manhattan.
In 2006, I focused Solar Jet Pro into a boutique marketing agency focusing on web development and print media which over the course of 9 years has grown with increased momentum and diversity.
I’m a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.
This is Alexander Podosenov.
He came onboard the Solar Jet at our 1-year mark… 9 years ago. He’s a pretty smart Russian from St. Petersburg, who when we first began working together had a passion for Madonna, RSS, and ambitions to be the next Rupert Murdoch. He’s well on his way, as his business savvy and technical brilliance fuel our continuing growth.
Alexander’s technical mind and his steadfast tech trend watch have proved incredibly valuable to our organization and our clients, and his talents are perfectly contrasted with my more… creative and less linear focus. Together, we guide our team and clients through the Marketing labyrinth. We’re a fusion of boundless creativity, energy and technical know-how.
We continue to evolve as web development is constantly changing: The website built today will be the aging architecture of tomorrow, so we’ve learned to be agile, to keep forging ahead, and learned that this industry is one that is truly about constant transition and change.
Most importantly we’ve learned that we love what we do. Take off with us.
